Estimating the direct impact of more than 70% loss of funding for Washington State. Federal 330 Funding: Total Federal 330 Funding=$135.5 Million. Estimated funding cut from local communities= $96.3 million. Patients: Number of patients served=1.2 Million. Estimated patients losing access to care=104.5 thousand. Estimated funding cut=$96.3 million. Estimated funding remaining: $39.2 million. 9% of patients losing access to care. 91% of patients remaining. The Association represents community health centers and patients at the state and federal policy levels, participating in all aspects of the legislative process to bring quality, affordable health care to underserved people across Washington state.

With our unique lens on community health care and the health needs of low-income and vulnerable populations, we serve as a valuable resource for policymakers and state agencies. Community health centers are on the front lines of many major health issues facing our country, including substance use disorder treatment, depression and suicide prevention treatment, chronic disease management, and mental health.

We provide insight and expertise on decisions relating to Medicaid, behavioral health integration, the opioid crisis, immigration and health care access, as well as many other health and FQHC issues.
