WORLD ALLIANCE BENEFITS

The World Alliance provides its members with :

* Assistance in the assessment and identification of project health needs

* Assistance for the design and development project proposals

* Screening and approval of project proposals and submission to WHO for review

* Monitoring of commitments, time schedules, and program quality during the implementation stage of each project

* Progress reporting to WHO or other persons on a regular basis

* The acquisition and provision of drugs, materials and services, which can be beneficially made available to individual projects at cost through the offices of the World Alliance

* Liaison with WHO headquarters, regional and country offices

* Liaison with governments and public sector agencies

* Promotion of the World Alliance and its activities
